Coping with the New Security Challenges of Europe

This book summarises the workshops and presentations held during the 4 th International Security Forum (ISF) in Geneva from 15 to 17 November 2000. It presents an overview of the themes and projects discussed during the conference.
The 4 th International Security Forum was organised by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GSCP). It was the intention with this 4 th ISF to create a platform for discussion and an exchange of ideas on academic, humanitarian, military and other aspects of security issues.
During the 4 th International Security Forum, a wide range of topics were discussed within four tracks: I. European Security Policy; II. Humanitarian Dimension; III. Security, Arms Control and Civil Society; and IV. Information Technology.
