Dr. Maria Cristina Amoretti (Imperia, 1978) is Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Genova. Her primary interests are in Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Knowledge and Epistemology. She co-edited Conoscenza e Verità (Milano 2007).Prof. Nicla Vassallo (Imperia, 1963) is Full Professor of Theoretical Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Genova and is part of the teaching staff of the Doctorate inPhilosophy. Her primary research and teaching areas are Philosophy of Knowledge and Epistemology. She also has serious research interests in Feminist Philosophy, Metaphysics, Philosophical Naturalism and Scepticism. Her latest sole-authored work is Teoria della conoscenza (Roma-Bari 20082) and her latest co-authored work is Filosofia delle donne (Roma-Bari 20072). Her most recent edited book is Filosofia delle conoscenze (Torino 2006), and her most recent co-edited book is Filosofia della comunicazione (Roma-Bari 20062). She regularly writes for the Sunday Cultural Supplement of the newspaper Sole-24 Ore.
