The Editor and Translator: Kay Pritchett, Professor of Spanish at the University of Arkansas, received her doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to articles on twentieth-century Spanish literature in professional journals, she is the author of Four Postmodern Poets of Spain. She has also translated two contemporary Bolivian novels, José W. Montes Vannuci’s Jonah and the Pink Whale and Jesús Urzagasti’s In the Land of Silence.
