Karen H. Frith, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, is Associate Professor of Nursing, University of Alabama at Huntsville where she teaches in the University's online MSN and DNP programs. From 2002-2007 she was Chair, Graduate Nursing, Georgia College & State University. Dr. Frith is a member of AONE, served two years on the distance education national committee at AACN, and is a member in a host of other nurse organizations. She serves as reviewer (grants and articles) for Sigma Theta Tau, Health Resources and Services Administration, Journal of Issues in Nursing Education, Journal of Health & Medical Informatics, Journal of Nursing Education, and Journal of Nursing Administration, among others. She has authored 17 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presents nationally. She is board certified as Nurse Executive, Advanced, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. ||Deborah J. Clark, PhD, MSN, MBA, RN, is Director of the BSN program at ECPI University, inVirginia Beach, VA. It is an accredited online RN-BSN program that she designed and implemented. She is a program evaluator for NLNAC. Previous appointments include graduate faculty, Georgia College & State University, Department of Healthcare Systems & Informatics; University of Phoenix Online; Associate Dean for Nursing, at Clayton College & State University, GA. From 2005-2007 she was DON, Bel Arbor Nursing center, a 131-bed long term and rehabilitation care facility. She has 13 articles in peer reviewed journals and two chapters in textbooks. She presents nationally, and is reviewer for Computers, Informatics & Nursing and Online Journal of Issues in Nursing.
