Lynne M. Jackson, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at King's University College, University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, Canada. Her research on intergroup relations examines links between prejudice and people's relation with the natural world, the nature and causes of prejudice between religious groups, and the role of group competition over resources in generating ethnic prejudice. She has also conducted research on contemporary sexism, the role of prejudice in jury selection, adult life transitions, and hypnosis. She teaches courses related to diversity and prejudice, psychology of religion, and human–animal relationships, as well as introductory psychology. She lives on a farm near Melbourne, Ontario, with her husband and their many four legged friends.
