Levitating The Pentagon

This work examines the evolutions and innovations in the American theatre during the Vietnam War era. Included are the various performance styles, the nature of the companies, and the types of productions created. Of special focus is the means by which the social and political turbulence of the era shaped and directed the theatre and how it responded.
