Inside Risk: A Strategy for Sustainable Risk Mitigation

Scira MENONI is an associated professor and an expert in the prevention and the mitigation of technological and natural risks through urban and regional planning. Currently at the "Dipartimento di Scienze del Territorio" of the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), she focuses her interest on urban and regional planning in the attempt to find an equilibrium between technical and human subjects. Beginning from the Master Thesis in Architecture, going through consultant contracts and finally to her Ph.D. thesis in regional and environmental planning.
