Eating Disorders in Adolescence
De Gruyter (Verlag)
978-3-11-014347-8 (ISBN)
Anorexia and bulimia nervosa begin during adolescence in a large proportion of eating-disordered patients. The present monograph integrates clinical expertise as well as scientific analyses based on empirical investigations of the increasing number of young patients who suffer from an eating disorder.
The chapters are written by distinguished international experts and cover a broad spectrum of epidemiological and cultural issues, clinical and psychological aspects, management and treatment, and the course and outcome of these disorders.
