Fire Marshal: Principles and Practice

The National Fire Protection Association and International Association of Fire Chiefs are pleased to bring you the First Edition of Fire Marshal: Principles and Practice. Fire Marshal: Principles and Practice will provide readers with an understanding of the changing role of fire prevention professionals and how to create solutions to the issues and problems of tomorrow. It examines the roles and responsibilities of fire prevention professionals in managing fire prevention programs and risk reduction activities to assure public safety in their communities.

Fire Marshal: Principles and Practice covers the entire spectrum of the FESHE Bachelor's Curriculum Core Course, Fire Prevention, Organization, and Management. It also meets the requirements of the 2012 Edition of NFPA 1037, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Marshal and the 2009 Edition of NFPA 1031, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner (Level III).
