Building the Relationship

Leah Brew is an assistant professor of counseling at California State University at Fullerton. She has taught many undergraduate and graduate counseling courses, including basic counseling skills, an introduction to the counseling field, career development, group therapy, theories of psychology, and the practicum sequence to name a few. Dr. Brew's research interests include supervision, diversity issues, and biofeedback. She has written numerous articles, has co-authored a text, and has contributed chapters in books. Dr. Altekruse is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Counseling, Development, and Higher Education at the University of North Texas. He teaches Supervision, Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Counseling, and Teaching Counseling courses. His research interests include Issues in Counseling, Credentialing in Counseling, and Accreditation. He has written numerous articles, contributed chapters in books, and co-authored multiple texts.
