Tyson Mowarin is a Ngarluma man, based in the Pilbara region, Roebourne, WA. All his projects are designed to share and preserve Australian First Nations culture. Tyson’s diverse range of projects reflect his desire to be open to ventures that adapt his living culture with new technologies. With his production company, Weerianna Street Media, he created ‘The Welcome to Country’ app which uses geo-location technology to inform the user of the Traditional Owners of the land they are currently on and delivers a Welcome to Country video.
