Today, this ancient tradition has been transformed into a beautiful family-friendly festival, which takes place across the US in locations including Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; Salt Lake City, Utah; Omaha, Nebraska; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Reno, Nevada; and the Pocono Mountains in the Northeast.
