Martyn Rix is a leading botanist, plant collector, gardener, independent botanical advisor and author. He was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Veitch Memorial Gold Medal and has contributed writing pieces to magazines such as Country Life and Gardens Illustrated. He is the editor of Curtis's Botanical Magazine at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Together, Phillips and Rix have collaborated on over thirty plant books, including Vegetables: The Definitive Guide for Gardeners.
