Arguing that our Sunday worship and our Monday work desperately need to inform and impact each other, this book shows how Christian leaders can help people connect work and worship.
The modern chasm between "secular" work and "sacred" worship has had a devastating impact on Western Christianity.

Drawing on years of research, ministry, and leadership experience, Kaemingk and Willson explain why Sunday morning worship and Monday morning work desperately need to inform and impact one another. Together they engage in a rich biblical, theological, and historical exploration of the deep and life-giving connections between labor and liturgy. In so doing, Kaemingk and Willson offer new ways in which Christian communities can live seamless lives of work and worship.

Matthew Kaemingk (PhD, Vrije Universiteit and Fuller Theological Seminary) is associate dean for Fuller Texas (Houston), scholar-in-residence at the Max De Pree Center for Christian Leadership, and assistant professor of Christian ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary. Cory B. Willson (PhD, Vrije Universiteit and Fuller Theological Seminary) is Jake and Betsy Tuls Associate Professor of Missiology and Missional Ministry and directs the Institute for Global Church Planting and Renewal at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
