Born in 1950, John Hendley was 15 years old when he began supporting his hometown club. In the late eighties he began to write historical pieces for the club's official programme and soon became a member of staff at the company that produced the publication at that time. In 1999, John achieved a long-standing ambition by becoming a full-time member of staff at Molineux. He is the club's programme editor, he writes articles for the Wolves website and also assists with the numerous press requests for interviews with the playing squad. He also acts as the club's historian.
