Every copy of the dictionary includes an accompanying CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains the entire text in Adobe Acrobat. In addition, it includes an audio component that allows users to click on an icon and hear the correct pronunciation of the most complex terms (approximately 30 per cent of all terms). The CD-ROM also includes links to several URLs so that users can gain immediate access to websites with relevance for dental professionals.
