Language Teaching in Higher Education

The collection of papers titled Language Teaching in Higher Education – Its Present, Current Strategies and Prospects is
published by CASALC (Czech and Slovak Association of Language Centre Teachers at Universities).
The 8th volume is dedicated to the current situation in foreign languages teaching, distance learning as well as using apps in the learning process. Moreover, the authors deal with the question of vocational language learning and its specifics. The essential parts of CASAJC proceedings are traditionally contributions focused on UNIcert language examination. The papers introduce and share the experience and results from the testing in the UNIcert® certification system from the various language centres at Slovak universities.
