Medterms: an Introduction to Medical Terminology

This is a computer-based training course teaching basic medical terminology and seeking to provide a foundation for spelling, pronouncing, understanding, and using medical terms. It contains 10 lessons, based on a curriculum developed at the University of Texas Health Science Centre. Prefixes are provided for: numbers, colours, opposites, negatives, size, comparison and positions, and medical root words. Suffixes are provided for: diagnostics, surgical terms, medical conditions, and parts of the body.
