This workbook provides a 15 day (or longer) learning programme for the 2x - 12x tables. It includes 48 flash cards for continued learning. A child should complete each table exercise and then, using the flash cards, a parent or guardian can help to reinforce the child's competence.
This workbook prepares children for the GL Assessment and CEM 11+ exams, SATs, CATs, the Northern Ireland Transfer Test, Common Entrance and scholarship examinations for independent schools, and all other styles of mathematical test.
Working through this programme will enable a child to develop a sound recall of the times tables, which will form a firm foundation for all maths learning that follows. Having this skill will give them confidence in their mathematical ability.
All our materials have been rigorously classroom tested. The methodologies have been successfully used in AE Tuition classes for over 20 years.

Dr Stephen C Curran PhD, BA(Hons), B(Mus), PGCE, Dip. RSA, MCollT, has many years of teaching experience in both the secondary and primary sector. In addition to writing, Stephen runs courses for children in Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-verbal Reasoning.
