There are also 137 extra names in the index of over 1,000 authors, including John Betjeman, Roald Dahl and Raymond Chandler. For each place there are details of who lived there, where they lived and what they wrote. There is also an index with biographies of over 1000 writers helping the reader to follow writers from place to place. Designed for planning literary tours anywhere in the British Isles, this book is for anyone with an interest in British literary heritage.
