This is the CHCD "Dictionary of Inorganic Compounds" on CD-ROM and comprises a database of 42,000 inorganic compounds with full text retrieval and substructure searching. The work is also available as a 5-volume printed work. The data for each entry includes where relevant - entry name, synonyms including non-proprietary names for drugs, structure display and connection tables for substructure searching, molecular formula, molecular weight, hazard data, toxicity data, CAS registry number including additional numbers, physical description including state, colour and an indication of stability, melting point, boiling point, freezing point, relative density, refractive index, optical rotation, solubility, dissocaiation constants for acids.
