Angelo Brioschi, born in 1961, has been a staunch aviation enthusiast from a very early age. He studied aerospace engineering and information technology and, from 1995, began to produce tecnical drawings and aircraft profiles for a major series of monographs focusing on Italian aviation. Thereafter he has been involved in producing a great number of books and other publications, both Italian and international. Apart from being a member of GAVS, a society dedicated to preserving Italy s aeronautical heritage, Angelo is in charge of editing its official magazine. He is also the coauthor of the latest systematic study addressing the colours and markings of Italian aircraft during the Second World War, to which he has contributed more than 300 colour profiles. He currently works as a computer technician. Jukka Keränen, born in 1965 in Helsinki, Finland, studied languages at his hometown s University and has thereafter spent the bulk of his professional life in the publishing world, first on dictionaries and latterly on school books and teaching materials. Always an aviation enthusiast, he started the usual way, by constructing scale models, and moved on to the real thing, albeit temporarily, managing to acquire some flying experience on high-wing Cessna singles in Zambia in the 1980s, although even then passionate about aviation history. A member of aviation historical societies in three countries, Jukka confesses to being seriously fascinated by aviation in southern Africa and, even more, Italian aviation history. He has published numerous articles in Finnish aviation magazines. Paolo Miana, born in 1976, has been deeply passionate about aviation since early childhood. Paolo graduated as an MA in History and went on to be employed by private research centres, the European Commission s JRC and in the aerospace sector. At the moment he is responsible for historical research and project development at the Viennese aircraft restoration company Craftlab. In 2004 he was among the winners of Finmeccanica s innovation award. Paolo contributed to the founding of the Agusta Museum at Cascina Costa in 2005, and the year after he was in charge of an exhibition on A. Marchetti organized to coincide with the opening of the AgustaWestland Training Academy at Sesto Calende. He has authored two books as well as various papers and articles on aviation history published in Italian and international periodicals.
