Atlas of Soft Tissue

This atlas provides comprehensive coverage of soft tissues pathology. Covering 130 diseases and 76 features, the module presents 2500-3000 color images covering all types of soft tissue lesions, including fibroblastic and histiocytic, adipocytic, smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, endothelial, lesions with perivascular elements, synovial, mesothellial, peripheral nerve, extraskeletal cartilagenous and osseous, pluripotential mesenchymal, and lesions of unknown histiogenesis. Textual information, including synopses for each disease, information on related immunohistochemistry and cytogenetics, and lists of references are also included. Images present the classic examples for each condition, but also several variants for a user to see the entire range of possibilities for a given diagnosis. As diagnosis of soft tissue lesions is particularly difficult, the module should be of use to all general pathologists, as well as residents and fellows learning the material in detail the first time.
