Leela Fernandes is Glenda Dickerson Collegiate Professor of Women’s Studies and Political Science at the University of Michigan, USA. Her most recent book is Transnational Feminism in the United States: Knowledge Ethics and Power. She is also the author of India’s New Middle Class, Transforming Feminist Practice and Producing Workers.
