Dennis R. Cohen (Los Angeles, CA) is the author and co-author of over 30 books, the most recent being The iPad 2 Project Book (Peachpit) and iPhoto’11: The Macintosh iLife Guide to Using iPhoto’11 (Peachpit). Cohen has been writing, and writing about, computer software for the past 35 years after a stint in the gaming industry where he was a dealer (including dealing in the World Series of Poker in 1972) and a cardroom shift manager. His programming career started at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, continuing at Ashton-Tate, Apple/Claris, and Aladdin Systems. Michael E. Cohen (Los Angeles, CA) is the author and co-author of numerous books, most recently The iPad 2 Project Book (Peachpit) and Take Control of TextExpander (TidBITS Publishing), and is currently a contributing editor to TidBITS, a Macintosh-oriented online newsletter, now in its twenty-second year. Cohen has been hanging out at the intersection of Science and The Arts for the last four decades. He is a graduate of UCLA’s Motion Picture and Television program and has developed instructional and commercial software and written about it.
