This text is designed for learners of French with a reasonable knowledge of the languages. It aims to extend the learner's vocabulary over a wide range of topics and to improve conversational and reading skills. Authentic recordings and radio excerpts teach the language as it is spoken by the French. These are backed up by carefully paced studio recordings and exercises. Many illustrations complement the user friendly page layout.
