Douglas Justins is an anaesthetist at St Thomas' Hospital, London. Colin Berry, also an anaesthetist, is an accomplished yachtsman, having crewed and been the medic in a Whitbread Round the World Yacht; he has also cruised and raced and served as a medical officer in the Royal Navy.
