This has included presenting roles in many television programmes, most notably Blue Peter, as well as writing books, and contributing to magazines and newspapers. Joe qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Bristol University in 1996 and he attributes his passion for the natural world and great spirit of adventure to being a direct descendent of Charles Darwin - his great-great-great-grandson to be precise!
