This volume presents over 200 photographs, including some of the game's stars - Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis, and Steffi Graf - to imprint images of proper technique into the minds of tennis players. These images should provide effective, internal feedback for stroke development and improvement.

John Yandell makes his home in San Francisco, where he heads both the John Yandell Tennis School and Video Sports. He's a tennis writer for the San Francisco Chronicle and a special contributing editor for TennisONE on the World Wide Web. He has developed critically acclaimed teaching systems using high-speed video and mental imagery training with players at all levels, including Grand Slam champions John McEnroe and Gabriella Sabatini. His instructional articles have appeared in Tennis, World Tennis, Tennis Match, and Inside Tennis magazines. When not working to help the world's tennis players, Yandell enjoys cross training, fly fishing, fusion cooking, reading intellectual history, and listening to rock music.
