An essential handbook for women who may be suffering from PMS. Morgan and Martano provide expert advice in diagnosing PMS as well as various treatments--nutritional, exercise and drug therapies--that can help alleviate symptoms.
PMS affects 60 million American women, many of whom are being treated for the wrong disease. PMS harms jobs, relationships, and even a sense of personal well-being. This breaththrough book enables women to decide for themselves if they are suffering from PMS--and 90% can successfully treat themselves.

Dr. Joseph T. Martorano, a nationally recognized authority on the clinical treatment of PMS, has been actively treating the disorder for over twelve years. Dr. Martorano has been on the faculty of three major teaching hospitals in New York, is an expert in psychopharmacology, and has been in private practice in psychiatry in New York for over twenty-five years. A co-founder of PMS Medical, he is the group's medical director. Maureen Morgan, a registered nurseand a psychiatric social worker, originally helped co-found PMS Medical in New York City. In addition to her work with women with PMS, she is a psychotherapist with practices in New York and Westchester. She has helped develop innovative procedures to improve PMS treatment.
