Viewers learn how to introduce, demonstrate and explain a skill, then show players how to practice it. On the video, two coaches demonstrate this teaching method with their team. Watching the coaches address their players, viewers learn the basic techniques for successfully teaching any skill, regardless of its complexity. The skills shown cover the fundamentals that every coach needs to teach: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, and setting and defending screens. Viewers also learn how to apply these basic techniques in order to progress from teaching individual skills to running drills and teaching team strategies.
