Born in Mauritius, Roseline NgCheong-Lum has always had a deep interest in peoples and their cultures. After graduating from Oxford University, she worked as a teacher in her homeland before moving to Singapore, where she became a book editor, wife and mother. Despite her hectic schedule. Roseline has managed to author several titles in the Cultures of the World and Countries of the World series as well as Culture Shock! Mauritius. Roseline has lived in England and the United States, and has travelled to many countries in America, Europe and Asia. Recently, she moved back to Singapore with her family after spending a few years in Bangkok. She has been thrilled with the variety of food available in the Thai capital and through this guide, she hopes to share her knowledge of the various types of cuisines available in the exotic city of Bangkok.
