It gives concise details on each site from descriptions of habitat and types of bird to be found there as well as opening times and the best season to visit each site, where relevant. On the reverse of the main map there are detailed maps of 15 major sites and information panels on many aspects of birding including a detailed list of bird observatories and the major seabird colonies to be found in Britain and Ireland.
