He has worked in athletics, gymnastics, rugby and disability sports and was Team UK doctor at the Invictus Games. He has experience in trauma and emergency care from previous Orthopaedic training and has also been trained to be an emergency medicine doctor. He is always looking to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and is a keen advocate of player welfare.

 

Dr Tom Leggett is a dedicated and driven Sports Medicine Doctor and GP with a passion for working in the field of sports. He has an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Musculo-Skeletal ultrasound. He works as the Team Doctor for England Rugby (Women's U20s), England Para-Football (Cerebral Palsy) and RFU academy teams (Midlands - West and Central). He is the Club Doctor at Port Vale Football Club. Alongside this he works as a GP locum in general practice and MSK medicine. He actively collaborates with colleagues to deliver top-notch patient care, committed to honing my leadership, team management, and clinical skills, ensuring the best possible outcomes for his patients and colleagues.
