The book, "Tour de France: A Hundred Years of the World's Greatest Cycle Race", details the story of the race in words and pictures from its beginnings in the last century, right up to Lance Armstrong's triumphs. Accompanying the book is a DVD, "Le Tour de France: The Official History", presented by Sean Kelly, himself a veteran of the race and now a commentator and analyst, and narrated by cycling commentator David Duffield.
MARGUERITE LAZELL was Deputy Editor for Cycle Sport magazine and has covered four Tours de France and the Olympic Games in Sydney and Athens. She lives in north London. DAVID DUFFIELD has commentated on the race for Eurosport. He is the narrator of the accompanying DVD.
