Presents a no-holds-barred account of one of the few women to ride saddle broncs professionally.
"Hobble Stirrups" is a no-holds-barred account of one of the few women to ride saddle broncs professionally. But the real fun, frolic and well bruised flesh happened in the whistle stop towns in between. This is a life lived by Burnett - as rich as the Comstock, as wild as a riot, as sad as an eight high poker hand.

Jane Burnett Smith was raised on a cattle ranch in Montana, rode saddle broncs professionally in rodeos, worked in Western movies and was a black jack dealer in Nevada. She now lives in Tempe, Arizona near her daughter and family. She was nominated to the National Cowgirls' Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas and is a member of Western Writers of America.
