J’SOMETHING, or Joao Da Fonseca, is best known as the lead singer of the award-winning South African house band Mi Casa. Apart from his contributions to the music industry, J’Something is passionate about food and cooking. He is the author of Something’s Cooking (Quivertree, 2016), as well as a restauranteur. His first restaurant, Something’s Cooking By J, in Pretoria has since made way for the launch of his newest restaurant, Artistry, in Johannesburg. He hosted the TV show What’s for Dinner and is a judge on My Kitchen Rules South Africa.
