Syndrome W is the metabolic problem that causes the dreaded gaining of weight "around the middle". Here, the author attempts to prove that this unwanted weight gain is not only a real medical disorder, but it can be permanently reversed if properly diagnosed and treated. This book also explains that insulin resistance is the culprit.
This groundbreaking book explains clearly what you need to know about Syndrome W-a metabolic condition due to an abnormality in your insulin levels and commonly found in women in their 30s through 60s. Now, Dr. Mogul, the physician who discovered the condition, shows it can be reversed when properly diagnosed and treated. Dr. Mogul gives you (and your doctor) all the tools you need to find and fix Syndrome W.
