Dr James Patton Rogers is the Executive Director of the Cornell Brooks Tech Policy Institute at Cornell University and the NATO Country Director of the Full Spectrum Drone Warfare project, supported by NATO SPS. An expert on drones, disruptive technologies, and the history of weaponry and strategy, James has addressed the UN Security Council in New York and has worked with the UNOCT AND UNCTC. He is currently an expert adviser to the UK Parliament's All-Party Parliamentary Group on Drones, a UK MoD Defence Opinion Leader, and a TEDx Speaker. He is the author of Precision: A History of American Warfare (Manchester University Press) and regularly contributes to the Washington Post, the Guardian, New York Times, Newsweek, and Forbes (amongst others). With a PhD from the University of Hull in the UK, he has previously been a fellow of the University of Oxford, Yale University, Stanford University, and was a Visiting Scholar of Loughborough University and the U.S Air Command and Staff College, Air University, USAF.
