Born in Coventry, the heart of Britain's motor industry. Brian comes from a family with a proud heritage in both automotive and aviation engineering. He trained as a mechanical engineer, and worked at his father's garage before moving into power transmissions. Since 1990, when his first book was released, he has had more than 30 books published. Brian is a member of the RJC (Researchers' & Journalists' Conference of Japan), the Guild of Motoring Writers and a former Porsche owner. Brian has a wife, Miho, a son, Louis, and a daughter, Sophie-Mercedes, and lives in Japan.
