This was done with theestablishment of the Municipal Police, replacing the inadequate, outdated nightwatch system which had been in place since the 17th century with the founding ofthe Dutch colonial city of New Amsterdam.The Municipal Police were impatiently replaced by a Metropolitan Police.Other local police were consolidated.As you keep reading, you will be amazed how I took you to the past and back tothe present time. When shewas seven years old, her family relocated to New York City. She comesfrom a very lovable family. Her parents, Juan Jose Pagan Rodriguez,and Digna Morales Figueroa, now deceased, always encouraged herwith her projects as a writer and teaching career. He was also known for his writing/composer skills.Norma did all her academic studies in New York City, Puerto Rico, and Canada.She worked in the City of New York Police Department.
