This text deals with a relatively common psychological problem - panic disorder. A panic disorder is a sudden episode of intense fear, often bordering on terror. Repeated attacks of panic are termed "panic disorder". Roughly 15 people per 1000 develop a panic disorder at some time in their life. It is a distressing condition, and if it persists, has an adverse effect on most aspects of the person's life. In this book, the authors give a lucid and detailed account of the disorder.
