This book is about the journey of Rosy, she is a foundling, an abandoned child of the wheel, her story is set in the Bourbon era of Sicily in a small town called Polizzi Generosa, the south of Sicily, in the region of Palermo. The town sits in the hills above sea level, around 900 feet. How can a child be abandoned? Why? Does purpose and destiny play a part for Rosy? Rosy starts to grow she is 8 years old and very inquisitive. This book is for children between the ages of 10-14 years, who ask the question "e;Who am I?"e; Life is about creating one self; we spend our entire life asking questions. Faith, purpose, and destiny are the key components to this book. Without Faith we cannot see the unforeseen, faith is a seed that is handed down through generations, without purpose we cannot continue our journey, as it is the fuel for life. Destiny is God's divine plan to direct us in our journey. Destiny is often conceived as being divinely inspired, it is about the present, where every decision that an individual can make will shape their present, and future.Circumstances create the trail in life, and how we perceive-life to be finally, will be the outcome. Why is life difficult? Why does this question of "e;Who am I?"e; continue to cause Rosy to ask everyone? The answers lie within all of us, if we are brave enough to ask.
