But Stefan Hainzl, doctor of the Austrian Nordic combined team, became weaker and weaker. Even after the devastating diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, he hid the symptoms as best he could. At some point it was no longer possible. He fought the disease and gradually developed his own therapy, which restored his strength and rid him of symptoms. An inspirational and motivating book for those fighting against illness, even if it is thought to be incurable.

Stefan Hainzl was born in Linz in 1975. After graduating from high school, he moved to Vienna in 1995 to study medicine. As a resident general practitioner, he specialized in patients with musculoskeletal disorders thanks to numerous additional training courses. He has been the Austrian team doctor for Nordic combined and ski jumping since 2005. He has three daughters with his wife Laura. In 2008 Stefan Hainzl was surprisingly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
