I was eventually able to turn to my mother-in-law for help, and she helped me turn to God. I began to believe that I could be in a relationship with God, and that God loved me and would back me up.#4 I was a nurse working at a drug and rehabilitation facility in Wickenburg, Arizona. I began listening to the lectures on addiction, and I realized that I was an alcoholic. I began treating alcoholics, and I was asked to help develop ways of treating chemical dependencies and other psychological problems.
