Paul Trevillion is a legendary British sports artist and the inventor of the Pencil Grip putting method. He holds a teaching diploma in Art and Design, and is noted as the cartoonist for the 'Roy of the Rovers' comic strip and as the brainchild behind the 'You are the Ref' series in the Observer. He is the author and illustrator of over 20 golf books, including Gary Player's Golf Class, which became the largest syndicated feature in the world, appearing in over 750 newspapers. Now aged 83, Paul Trevillion lives in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, just a 4-wood from a choice of golf courses, and he still never misses a 4-foot put.
