Professor Jim Lucey is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and a Consultant Psychiatrist at St. Patrick's University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Medical Director of St. Patrick`s Mental Health Service until his retirement in 2019, Jim Lucey has over thirty years experience in clinical and academic psychiatry, previous clinical appointments include Consultant Psychiatrist at Connolly Hospital (HSE) Dublin, and Consultant Psychiatrist with responsibility for psychiatric intensive care at St. Bartholomew's Hospital (NHS), London. Formerly a governor of St Vincent's Psychiatric Hospital (HSE) in Dublin, a member of the Health Committee of the Irish Medical Council, Lucey was also a member of the board of the Mental Health Commission of Ireland. He lives in Dublin.
