Pam's long career in knitwear design has yielded hundreds and hundreds of satisfying and easily wearable projects.

Pam Allen has worked in the knitting industry for many years as an independent hand-knitwear designer, editor-in-chief of Interweave Knits magazine, and creative director at Classic Elite Yarns. In 2010, she co-founded Quince & Company, a hand-knitting yarn and knitwear design company, with an historic spinning mill in Maine. She is the author of Knitting for Dummies (John Wiley & Sons, 2002), Scarf Style (Interweave Press, 2004), Home: 18 Knittable Projects to Keep You Comfy (Quince & Co, 2014), and Plain & Simple: 11 Knits to Wear Every Day (Quince & Co, 2018).
