This innovative book introduces and explains with clarity the concepts, philosophy and practical applications of endobiogenic medicine, a patient-centred diagnostic approach to treatment that originated in France and is now taught across the globe.
Using in-depth case studies, Paul Michael gives us detailed treatment plans including specific diets, manual therapy and the use of targeted plants and supplements.
He also offers new insights into the mechanism behind the autoimmune process seen in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis from the endobiogenic perspective.
Paul Michael BA, BSc Hons, MCPP, is a medical herbalist, practitioner of endobiogenic medicine and a qualified Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) therapist. He is a first-class graduate of the BSc in Herbal Medicine programme at Middlesex University, and a member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP). He trained for over 7 years with Dr Jean-Claude Lapraz, and uses the endobiogenic approach in conjunction with classical herbal medicine. Paul is one of the founders of the UK Endobiogenic Medicine Society (EMS). Paul was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 19. His determination to avoid conventional treatments led him to study phytotherapy and endobiogeny. He is passionate about helping others overcome chronic illness so that they may lead healthy lives.
