He was selected to the Pacific Northwest Golf Association Hall of Fame for his playing career. His later success includes being a member of the Golf Digest teaching staff and winning the National PGA Teacher of the Year Award. He continues to teach major champions on the PGA tour, LPGA tour and Champions Senior tour.
